What do I need to know about technology integration before I become a teacher?

There are many ways that technology can be a useful tool in order to use virtual activities and help facilitate development. Technology integration is a critical way to support diverse learners and can help stay organized as a teacher. It is important for me to get a better grasp on how to work with technology and enhance assesment, rather than just placing computers in the classroom. Creativity and a different approach to teaching is also a major benefit to the continuous use of technology. There are many tools that can be used to benefit in research, organization, communication and overall academic performance through technology. Students now are able to communicate with one another and their teacher when in need for assistance, as well as stay organized in keeping track of their grades and assignments through various websites that school systems use. The classroom experience tends to be more personal and fun with creative uses of technology in websites, smart boards, and other tools integrated in the class. Technology should be integrated as much as possible to continue to enhance the learning experience of students in various ways.
